E! Entertainment Cancels ‘The Soup’

Joel McHale’s weekly parody show on E! Entertainment, The Soup, has been cancelled by the network. The show, which initially began as Talk Soup in 1991, had been rebranded as The Soup when McHale had become the host in 2004.

The show, which pokes out at other TV shows and celebrities and events in real life, had previously been hosted by John Henson, Hal Sparks and Aisha Tyler.

E! gave no immediate reason as to why the show was cancelled. The show’s final episode will air on the 18th of December, 2015.
