Olusosun Fire: Lagos Government asks Residents to Relocate

The Lagos State Government has asked that residents of Olusosun, Ojota, relocate to avoid health hazards, Punch reports.

The order is in relation to the Olusosun dump which went up in flames last Wednesday, and has been on fire since then.

Director-General, Lagos State Safety’s Commission, Hakeem Dickson, said this during a press conference on ‘Vision Zero’ in Ikeja. He said:

The smoke has continued to billow and the advice became necessary to prevent health hazards.
